Christmas cards!

In Art, Cartoons on November 12, 2010 at 10:30 pm

Finally, they’re here. And by ‘here’ I mean here:

http://www.etsy.com/shop/CartoonInk

Hand-drawn, hand-lettered, hand-inked, hand-everything really (except hand-delivered), and professionally printed and eco-friendly and everything. They’re lovely, even if I do say so myself. I urge you to purchase them.

A slice of the profits will find its way to the good people at Roadpeace.

While you’re browsing Etsy, you could do far, far worse than check out the excellent stuff produced by Hilke Oetjen at The RetroSquare. Any money you haven’t spent on my cards, you should spend there (but you should ask yourself, why haven’t you spent it on my cards?).

I take the liberty of wishing you all a merry Christmas in advance.

Spinoffs and Clutterbuck

If this blog is Happy Days – and God I wish it was – then Clutterbuck is its Mork and Mindy. Go there. Go there now, and return day after day after happy, happy day.

Coming soon: Christmas Redux

In Art, Cartoons on November 3, 2010 at 11:58 am

There are only 52.51 shopping days to go till Christmas, and I’m really quite excited to announce that this year my hand-doodled Christmas cards will be available not only to be gawped at on here but also to be held in your very own hands, posted to your very own friends and relations, and installed on your very own friends’ and relations’ very own mantelpieces.

The production lines should be humming busily in a week or two, so postpone your card-buying for now and watch this space for further details. The cards will be roughly based on last year’s designs, only brighter, neater and generally souped-up,  and a proportion of the meagre profits will go to the charity RoadPeace.

In the meantime, happy Guy Fawkes’ Night, all.
